Purchase
- Support is also available for member organisations. Co-owners can be fully managed. Forestry plans and certificates can be stored as files
- Different forms of purchase (cutting commissions, delivery timber, standing forests), also pure services such as e.g. silviculture.
- Various types of files associated with the contract can be stored. It can be a logging notification, cover letter, etc.
Production
- Assign objects to selected contractor and carrier.
- Integration with ForestLink, information about an object is transferred automatically to selected contractor who reports volumes
- The contractor can also log in and view their work orders and report volumes
- Silviculture tasks can be followed up.
Logistics
- Carriers can log in and view their transport orders.
- Road inventory is updated with forwarded volumes and measurement reports from VIOL.
- The measurement messages are read in automatically from VIOL, but volumes can also be reported manually.

The whole business chain
ForestBase is a system for wood procurement. It covers the business chain from contract to disbursed cash. Different forms of purchase can be handled such as felling assignments, delivery wood, etc. The same applies to silviculture and other services. Felling assignments are assigned to contractors who in turn report harvested and forwarded volumes. Carriers can be assigned missions. Road inventory is updated continuously. Settlements are created based on measurement data and then a payment order is made.
Connectivity
Integration with other systems is important to ForestBase. This applies not least to Biometria. Our integration platform BIS (Business Integration Service) is ideal for easily and securely building integrations with other systems. ForestBase is integrated with ForestLink. There is also interest in integrating with Timmerweb, Timbertrack and various financial systems. ForestBase is a cohesive platform that, together with other systems, provides very good support for wood procurement.
