ForestBase – new addition to our offering!

TimberIT has recently agreed with two companies, Qbik AB and Nätraälven Skog, to take over the management and further development of their wood procurement system. The system is called ForestBase. We are already familiar with ForestBase.

The system is easy to use and contains the functionality needed for wood procurement. External actors such as contractors and transporters can log in and directly manage their work orders and transport orders. Integration with VIOL (Biometria) is available. Current users are very satisfied with the system.

ForestBase has existed for many years and has been continuously further developed. Current version is completely cloud-based.

We expect ForestBase to become an important part of our offering of IT solutions to the wood products industry. Even more specialized organizations for wood procurement such as e.g. forest owner associations benefit greatly from ForestBase.

The two companies' versions of ForestBase differ slightly from each other. The first step in the takeover will therefore be to develop a joint version. We have engaged a skilled development partner to work with ForestBase. In doing so, we have also strengthened our development resources.
